You could say Gabriela Sanchez Vegas has been an interior designer since since she was a teenager. Originally from Venezuela, Gabriela came to Miami in 2000 by way of Pittsburgh and San Francisco. Her passion for interior design started when she was 13 years old, excited by a culture with art on every corner, visiting her uncles architecture projects and designing the interiors for her family each time they moved. In her 30`s she became a successful artist in her own right and studied with renowned contemporary concrete master Fu-Tu Cheng. In fact, Gabriela has worked beside greatly known artist like Carlos Cruz-Diez and Rafael Barrios whom have manifested close relationships with the designer. You can find their original art in her design projects. Gabriela has founded great art fairs like BURST which was successfully presented in November of 2011. While her personal artwork in imaginative concrete creations has earned her several international awards,  it's her interior home design that has gained the most attention and success.  Having had her own design firm for over 15 years,  she describes her style as "360 degree design"- a concept that makes the most of every space in the home. "I give the best part of my creative and art background to every client, with an understanding that every detail has to be prefect- and that everything I design has a meaning and purpose- that's why I call it 360 degree design." Her projects have ranged from London to Caracas and in some of the hottest local  developments including The Continuum, Apogee, Jade Ocean, Trump Towers, Murano Grande at Portofino and Portofino Tower. One of her favorite projects was transforming a raw space of 4,000 feet in the Apogee into a beautiful modern home that incorporated elegant modern design, the owners large art collection- and showcasing the amazing views. The result was one of balance, peace and comfort while maintaining a feeling of intellectual design and glamour.  She continues to be involved with this ethereal home, up keeping its in vogue style and freshness years passed achieving the initial projection.
